We Have a New T@B!

Recently we decided to start looking for a T@B with the L-shaped kitchen. The thought of being able to stay inside on cold, rainy mornings and turn on the coffee in the warm, cozy trailer prompted our search. After many emails and phone calls, we found Ruby T@Booli in Speedway, IN.

Pat and Jennifer had decided to buy a Serro Scotty, which was lucky for us!

At the end of April we attended the Blue Ridge Rally and surprised our friends when we pulled in towing a red and white T@B.

Bringing T@Booli Home!

Today we're going to Charlotte to pick up our little trailer. She's been in the "trailer hospital" to get a leak repaired. She had to have some seals replaced on the kitchen hatch, and we're hoping this did the trick! We'll let you know how it turns out!

PS We changed the spelling of her name. We replaced her license tag (after losing it last summer) and decided on a new spelling.

Codorus State Park, Hanover, PA

We're just finishing our only full day in Codorus State Park. It's a lovely, quiet park with large sites and very wooded. It has a large lake, hiking trails, bike trails etc.

But the highlight of our day today was a factory tour of the Utz Potato Chip factory. It was very interesting and we bought our share of potato chips and treats at the factory store. Utz must be the largest employer in this county.

A sad note - we lost our personalized T@Bouli license tag somewhere on I-95 yesterday. We discovered it gone when we stopped to get fuel in Pennsylvania.

We're packing up tonight so we can get an early start to Albany tomorrow morning. That's all for now.

Tybee Island, GA

We spent a week at Tybee Island for a mini-family reunion. Sadly, not everyone could be there with us. We witnessed some spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Tybee is a wonderfully quiet beach - a great place for rest and relaxation.

Catching Up Again!

Here we are again - way behind on our blog! Since our last post, we took two more trips in the T@B. The first one was all the way to Connecticut to the first New England Rally in early September, We had a few days of rain, but a great time was had by all! We went home to regroup, and check on our animals and then headed to Hillsville, Virgina to the Fall Splash Rally. We had beautiful weather and, it was fun seeing old friends and making new ones. In November we went to Albany, NY. We met up with our friends, Sue and Rich, left our T@Bs at home and went on a nine day, all inclusive trip to China. We finished 2008 with a trip to Colonial Williamsburg. Sue and Rich invited us to join them there and were wonderful tour guides!! We also met up with some other T@B friends, Sharon and Becky, who took us to one of their favorite restaurants.

Sharon and Becky (with cameras) are directly behind the drummer

Catching Up - Blue Ridge Rally - May 2008

We've been very busy since our last rally in Marion, NC, and I decided it was time to "catch up." (Since that rally, we visited our son in NYC, had family from Boston visit, went to the NC coast. In June, Susan went to Europe with son, Mark for two weeks. Then, another trip to the NC coast with family and a trip to Florida to visit Susan's parents. Now it's time to get back to T@BOULI and get busy camping again.)

Wahoo Rally - Townsend, TN 11/1 to 11/4/07

We attended our first T@B rally the first weekend in November. We had read and heard from others who had attended rallys in the past how much fun they were. The rally took place in Little River KOA in Townsend, TN just a hop, skip and a jump from the Great Smokey Mountain National Park. There were attendees from NC, SC, GA, VA, AL, NY, WVA, TN, IL (a total of 15 T@B trailers and one T@B wannabe). A great time was had by all! We toured each other's trailers on Saturday morning and made note of many interesting as well as functional modifications T@Bbers have done to their trailers. Saturday evening we enjoyed a potluck dinner. This may have been our first rally but it definitely won't be our last. We made many new friends whom we look forward to seeing again! Following are some random pictures from the rally and some fall scenes from Great Smokey National Park. Enjoy!

We spotted a T@DA on the way home at the Elkmont Campground. (It's a new, bigger version but certainly not as cute.

Where's the T@B?

On the way home we stopped along the Blue Ridge Parkway to take some pictures.
